Former Prisoner of War Advocate

The Former POW Advocate serves as resource to connect former POWs with the services they may need; Veterans Benefits (e.g. compensation/pension), Non-Institutional Extended Care Services(home maker home health, skilled, Adult Day Health Care, Respite, and Hospice services),  Contract nursing home, and CLC services.  FPOW Advocates may also assist with locating community resources, ensuring these Veterans have their medals, copies of DD214, enrollment in other ancillary services, which might include Mental Health services for PTSD.
