Visitor Information

Waiting Areas

For your convenience and safety, we have special waiting areas throughout the facility. Please do not gather in the hallways or at the nurses' stations. You may also want to review our Visiting Hours and Policies.

Security

NMVAHCS Police Officers provide 24-hour patrols of the facility and parking lots.  For general police assistance, please call (505) 265-1711, extension 4222.  In case of emergency, call (505) 265-1711, extension 2222.  Promptly report all suspicious or criminal activity, vehicle accidents, and personal property losses that occur on VA grounds to the VA Police.

Lost and Found

The Lost and Found technician may be reached at 265-1711 extension 2268 or on pager 251-7675.

Chapel

The Chapel, located on the second floor of Building 41, is a sancruatry for meditation, prayer and worship.  Regularly scheduled services are broadcast on Chaplain Channel 10 along with classical music.  Contact Chaplain Service at 265-1711, extension 2735 to speak with a Chaplain or to arrange for care from your respective spiritual community.
