About the Program
The Women's Health Care Program at the New Mexico VA Health Care System is a collaborative practice designed to provide gender specific comprehensive medical care. The incorporation of Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Gynecology, Nurse Practioners, Psychology, Social Work, Pharmacy, Dietary and other ancillary member, allows female veterans to receive care in a coordinated and consistent manner.
The team of physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses has the immediate consultation of other members. The goal is seamless medical care to meet the special needs of females. Female providers are available for the comfort of our women veterans.
