Telephone Care Program
The Telephone Care Program is a service that is offered to veterans that allows them to call over the phone with their health care concerns. Whether it is urgent, non-urgent or just seeking health information it provides the link between the veteran and the New Mexico VA Health Care System. Trained patient service assistants and registered nurses answer the calls.
Service is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. During administrative hours, (8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, excluding holidays) the calls are answered by the New Mexico VA Health Care System staff:
